Bio

Amy Hui was BAA’s Youth Education Programs Coordinator from 1999 to 2000, coordinating the YEA! program and helping the teen interns of the High Schools Group.

Post BAA

She has worked in the areas of environment and education ever since, with stints at Silicon Valley Toxics Coalition, Santa Clara County, and as a freelance consultant.

In addition to her professional work, Amy has volunteered extensively in environmental education and restoration. Her contributions include creek monitoring, water quality assessments, invasive species management, and environmental education through programs like the City of Albany and AmeriCorps’ Waterwatch Program. She also taught garden-based environmental lessons for urban youth in Berkeley, reflecting her long-standing commitment to fostering environmental stewardship and education.
