Community Creek Watch

Earth Day 1995 Site Leader for clean-up at Guadalupe River in San Jose.

1996 BAA Elementary Outreach Program took students from Entrada Elementary School on a creek walk hosted by Coyote Creek Riparian Station.

1998 Karen was hired as a conservation biologist working part­ time on the Arastradero Preserve Stewardship Project.

1999 Karen Cotter is the research director for the Arastradero Preserve Stewardship Project. She organizes the restoration days, leads research projects, and has helped develop edu­cational curriculum for nearby schools that use the pre­serve as an outdoor classroom. She is currently finishing her master’s degree in conservation biology at San Fran­cisco State University.
