Bio
Owen Byrd was one of BAA’s founding members and helped shepherd the organization in its early years, serving as director and general counsel, and filing the papers with the state of California which gained BAA 501(c)(3) nonprofit status in 1991.
He helped form BAE-PAN during the Middle East Crisis.
Post-BAA
Owen worked at Greenbelt Alliance and more recently as a developer.
