Peter Colby was one of the most dedicated habitat restoration volunteers at Arastradero Preserve and San Francisquito Creek for many years, doing hundreds of hours of work restoring nature. Peter and a handful of other key volunteers at Arastradero put in over 3,550 hours of volunteer work in just 1999 alone.

Peter also helped out with maintenance work at the 715 Colorado Ave offices in 1998, earning a Most Soulful Building Main­tenance Crew Award from Laura Stec.
